Sometimes I love living on this planet so much, I barely can find words to express it. We should all be so lucky to look as good at 50 as Deep Blue does. #DEEP BLUE SHARK LENGTH FULL#
When white sharks are about to give birth, they get close to the shore and deliver their pups in shallow areas known as nursery grounds, which are full of food and free of predators. This amazingly enormous female is carrying several little baby white sharks, just waiting to be swimming free in the ocean. They remain in this protected area for a few months but now there is a new challenge. Deep Blue has been spared from longlines and the inherent dangers of being in the wild, and somehow she has found her way in the vast ocean. A shark of that size is at least 50 years old and that tells me protection and conservation efforts are really working. When I saw Deep Blue for the first time, there was just one thought in my mind: Hope. The Blue shark is very slim, long and slender and is streamlined in shape. Blue sharks: Length: Females grow between 6 to 9.3ft. But which is bigger Theres actually not much to it in terms of length. The male blue shark commonly grows to 1.82 to 2.82 m (6.0 to 9.3 ft) at maturity, whereas the larger females commonly grow to 2.2 to 3.3 m (7.2 to 11 ft) at maturity. Tigers and Great Whites are the biggest predatory Sharks alive today. Aesthetic Identification: The Blue shark is deep blue to indigo from above in color, vibrant blue on its sides and flanks, and a white, counter-shaded underbelly. The top of the body is deep blue, lighter on the sides, and the underside is white. At the time the video below was shot, Deep Blue was pregnant. Average Weight: Usually between 300 and 400 pounds.

This week, shark researcher Mauricio Hoyos Padilla shared this previously unseen footage shot in 2013 off the coast of Mexico’s Isla Guadalupe. In the gif above, she’s like, “Hey guys, my head is literally the size of your body lol.” That’s funny because she looks at least 5,000 feet long to me.
